Call of Duty, with Fries!
Activision are sticking with the same formula for the next Modern Warfare 2 DLC, again 1200 points for three new maps and two ‘classic’ ones.
The classic maps are Vacant and Strike, while the new maps are called Trailer Park, Carnival and Fuel.
The so called ‘Resurgence’ pack launches June 3 for Xbox 360.
Treyarch have formally announced Call of Duty: Black Ops on their new Black Ops website. With the release date set for 9 November 2010.
Over the last couple of weeks there has been a continual stream of news of staff leaving Infinity Ward. Latest count is now 25 out.
Rumours are appearing about the next installment in the Call of Duty series. Earlier rumours suggested Vietnam as the setting, although now it seems other settings through the Cold War will make an appearance. Suggested locations include: Vietnam, Cuba, South America and an 80’s SAS/Iranian Embassy mission.
Other rumours include the new name, “Call of Duty: Black Ops”, Zombie mode will return, along with dedicated servers.
