Single shot rifle.
Semi-automatic.
Effective medium to long range.
The SVT is an extremely accurate rifle with low recoil. Softcore will take down a target with 2-3 shots but in hardcore you looking at 1-2. The sights are ok but you benefit from either the rectical which makes it an extremely quick shooting rifle, capable of rushing. Otherwise the scope turns it into an amazing mobile sniper or counter sniper rifle.
Due to the slightly larger sizes of WAW maps, I prefer the scoped rifle as you will be able to take out most targets before they even see you!
Coupled with steady aim you stand a chance at close range as well as long as you can rattle off shots quickly. After some practice a 4 shot blast can be achieved that puts the STG’s rate-of-fire to shame!
